Purpose
Whale Bay is the storage for all Chapter resources, but when it reaches level 2, you will be able to produce some of the Chapter's resources:
These resources will be necessary to produce other Settlement Resources.
Requirements
To be able to build the Whale Bay you must unlock its technology in the Research Tree and spend the resources for its construction. It needs to be connected to the Main Hall with any regular street. It can be upgraded, sold and rebuilt.
In this Chapter you will have to take into account the amount of Prosperity you have available, so make sure you have the amount you need to build it. You can learn more about Prosperity on the page dedicated to the article.
Whale Bay Productions
Its production will only be unlocked from level 2 onwards. Until then, Whale Bay only functions as a storage building for the resources you produce in the other Chapter special buildings.
Once you have upgraded the Whale Bay to level 2, you can start producing the unlocked resources, as long as you have the necessary cost resources.
Hint: Prosperity bonus can boost the resources production. |
Upgrades
Whale Bay can be upgraded to level 4, since level 1 has no production option, it is only from level 2 that the building starts to play an important role as a producer of resources needed in other buildings of the Settlement.
Upgrading the Whale Bay to a new level will:
- Unlock Production Options.
- Unlock more production slots.
- Increase the amount of produced Resources per time. So the production will be more efficient!
- Increase the storage of Luminous Shrimps capacity.
- Increase the amount of Prosperity used by the building, so the production of all settlement resources will be more efficient.
